But all uses I could find in FFmpeg and one in VLC had a memleak in these cases, and I could not find any that relied on the previous behaviour. Clément Bœsch	b0352b1997	avcodec: export motion vectors in frame side data on demand The reasoning behind this addition is that various third party applications are interested in getting some motion information out of a video "for free" when it is available. It was considered to export other information as well (such as the intra information about the block, or the quantization) but the structure might have ended up into a half full-generic, half full of codec specific cruft. If more information is necessary, it should either be added in the "flags" field of the AVMotionVector structure, or in another side-data. This commit also includes an example exporting them in a CSV stream.	10 years ago

Andrew Stone	afbd4b7e09	lavf: add AVFormatContext/AVStream fields for signaling to the user when events happen. The only flags, for now, indicate if metadata was updated and are set after each call to av_read_frame(). This comes with the caveat that, on stream start, it might not be set properly as packets might be buffered in AVFormatContext.packet_buffer before being given to the user in av_read_frame(). Anton Khirnov	194be1f43e	lavf: switch to AVStream.time_base as the hint for the muxer timebase Previously, AVStream.codec.time_base was used for that purpose, which was quite confusing for the callers. This change also opens the path for removing AVStream.codec. The change in the lavf-mkv test is due to the native timebase (1/1000) being used instead of the default one (1/90000), so the packets are now sent to the crc muxer in the same order in which they are demuxed (previously some of them got reordered because of inexact timestamp conversion).	11 years ago
