Guessing it here only causes trouble for the caller if the guess turns out to be wrong (and actually causes very wrong output by avconv/avplay). John Brooks	2c4e08d893	riff: always generate a proper WAVEFORMATEX structure in ff_put_wav_header The cbSize field should be included in all cases, even with PCM where its value is ignored. Fixes encoding PCM audio in Matroska for some players which insist on a full WAVEFORMATEX structure for A_MS/ACM audio. Since fate uses wav files for the audio test a larger number of tests has changed checksums or shifted positions due to the 2 byte longer wave header. Anton Khirnov	d3c1d37a90	avconv: use different variables for decoded and filtered frame. Makes the code less obfuscated and fixes encoding one video stream to several outputs. Also use avcodec_alloc_frame() instead of allocating AVFrame on stack. Breaks me_threshold in avconv, as motion vectors aren't passed through lavfi. They could be copied manually, but I don't think this misfeature is useful enough to justify ugly hacks.	13 years ago

Joakim Plate	e42a3dd123	Allow reading of growing avi files (ie currently being written) This uses the RIFF header stored size to figure out the expected AVI file size, instead of the actual file. To work fully it requires handling failed avio_seek() instead of assuming they always succeed. Some fate file has been cut off and contains half a frame at the end which previously was not output during demuxing. This frame is now output to encoder, thus fate diff update.	13 years ago
