Anton Khirnov	bc90199848	lavc: set AVCodecContext.codec in avcodec_get_context_defaults3(). This way, if the AVCodecContext is allocated for a specific codec, the caller doesn't need to store this codec separately and then pass it again to avcodec_open2(). It also allows to set codec private options using av_opt_set_* before opening the codec.	13 years ago
Anton Khirnov	af08d9aeea	lavc: add avcodec_is_open(). It allows to check whether an AVCodecContext is open in a documented way. Right now the undocumented way this check is done in lavf/lavc is by checking whether AVCodecContext.codec is NULL. Martin Storsjö	cae4f4b77e	avcodec: Make sure codec_type is set by avcodec_get_context_defaults2 This function used to set codec_type. With the current fallback implementation based on avcodec_get_context_defaults3, codec_type won't be set to the value passed in, but will be set to AVMEDIA_TYPE_UNKNOWN. Anton Khirnov	bb73cda2f6	libx264: fix setting some options. Specifically: gop_size, max_b_frames, scenechange_threshold, qmin, qmax, max_qdiff, qblur, qcompress and refs. Change their default values to -1 and only use them if the user explicitly set them. Otherwise x264 defaults are used. Move setting those options after x264_param_default_preset(), so they don't get overwritten by it.	13 years ago
