Anton Khirnov	9f61abc811	lavf: allow custom IO for all files Some (de)muxers open additional files beyond the main IO context. Currently, they call avio_open() directly, which prevents the caller from using custom IO for such streams. This commit adds callbacks to AVFormatContext that default to avio_open2()/avio_close(), but can be overridden by the caller. All muxers and demuxers using AVIO are switched to using those callbacks instead of calling avio_open()/avio_close() directly. (de)muxers that use the URLProtocol layer directly instead of AVIO remain unconverted for now. This should be fixed in later commits.	9 years ago

For example strcasecmp("i", "I") != 0 is possible, but would break many of the places where it is used. Instead use our own implementations that always treat the data as ASCII. Stefano Sabatini	55815edca0	prefer avio_check() over url_exist() The problem with url_exist() is that it tries to open a resource in RDONLY mode. If the file is a FIFO and there is already a reading client, the open() call will hang. By using avio_check() with access mode of 0, the second reading process will check if the file exists without attempting to open it, thus avoiding the lock. Fix issue #1663.
