Anton Khirnov	7ea1b3472a	lavc: deprecate the use of AVCodecContext.time_base for decoding When decoding, this field holds the inverse of the framerate that can be written in the headers for some codecs. Using a field called 'time_base' for this is very misleading, as there are no timestamps associated with it. Furthermore, this field is used for a very different purpose during encoding. Add a new field, called 'framerate', to replace the use of time_base for decoding.	10 years ago

Mans Rullgard	f3eb008343	eamad/eatgq/eatqi: call special EA IDCT directly These decoders use a special non-MPEG2 IDCT. Call it directly instead of going through dsputil. There is never any reason to use a regular IDCT with these decoders or to use the EA IDCT with other codecs. Reinhard Tartler	737eb5976f	Merge libavcore into libavutil It is pretty hopeless that other considerable projects will adopt libavutil alone in other projects. Projects that need small footprint are better off with more specialized libraries such as gnulib or rather just copy the necessary parts that they need. With this in mind, nobody is helped by having libavutil and libavcore split. In order to ease maintenance inside and around FFmpeg and to reduce confusion where to put common code, avcore's functionality is merged (back) to avutil.
