Nicolas George	2fc354f90d	ffmpeg: rework checks for the -t option. This commit is based on libav's implementation and makes sure to compare output timestamps together. It also reduces the differences with avconv. The changes to the test reference files are caused by an additional packet at the end, the timestamp of the frame encoded by this packet is always strictly below the limit stated by the -t option.	13 years ago

Anton Khirnov	74b961db77	avconv: replace -vsync cfr code with the fps filter. Invented timestamps for the h264 tests return to something resembling sanity. In the idroq-video-encode test when converting 25 fps -> 30 fps the fifth frame gets duplicated instead of the sixth.	13 years ago
Anton Khirnov	1270e12e49	avconv: rework -t handling for encoding. Current code compares the desired recording time with InputStream.pts, which has a very unclear meaning. Change the code to use actual timestamps of the frames passed to the encoder. In several tests, one less frame is encoded, which is more correct. In the idroq test one more frame is encoded, which is again more correct. Behavior with stream copy should be unchanged.	13 years ago
Måns Rullgård	2fad097788	Add FATE tests This adds a "fate" make target which runs the full FATE test suite. Individual tests can be run with "make fate-$testname". The location of the FATE test samples must be specified with the --samples=PATH option to configure. The tests/fate-update.sh script regenerates the references files and test list from the online FATE database. These are checked in since generating them requires non-standard tools.
